This weekend we celebrate the feast of Pentecost. It’s the birthday of the church because it’s when the Holy Spirit descended on the Apostles, just as Jesus promised would happen! With that in mind, here’s your REAL Challenge for the week:
Say a “happy birthday” prayer for the Church!
The Spirit has kept the Church going for over 2000 years. And even though we may not always know the direction we are headed, we trust that the Holy Spirit knows the way and will remain active in the Church – today and always. As you pray, remember how it began: Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which parted and came to rest on each one of them. ~Acts 2:3
