There is power in thinking globally but acting locally. It gives us the ability to start small in support of a much larger goal. Unfortunately, there are far too many great causes out there that could use our help. With that in mind, here’s your REAL Conversation for the week:
What can you do locally in support of a larger cause?
Answer this question with your family. Use it as a conversation starter to think about a family goal you can set for the coming year. As you’re doing that, remember this quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: “In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there ‘is’ such a thing as being too late. This is no time for apathy or complacency. This is a time for vigorous and positive action.”
