In the story of the Prodigal Son, the older son was extremely upset with his younger brother after he returned home. His father was ready and willing to forgive, but the older son just didn’t understand! With that in mind, here’s your REAL Question for the week:
Why is it often difficult to truly forgive someone who has wronged you?
As you’re thinking about how difficult it can be to forgive others, remember what Jesus told us about the subject: “But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” ~Matthew 6:15
When we learn to forgive others, then we will be forgiven!
