As Christians, we are called to build the Kingdom of God here on earth and create a world where ALL people feel truly welcomed. If you’re not helping to make people feel that way, then it’s hard to call yourself a follower of Christ! So with that in mind, here’s your REAL Question for the week:
What would make people feel more welcomed at Church?
Spend some time thinking about this question in regards to what you and others do – or don’t do – in the pews. As you’re grappling with this question, remember what we read in the letter to the Hebrews: Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. ~Hebrews 13:2
There’s more than one reason to be kind and welcoming to everyone!
