As Christians, we ask the Lord to “forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.” That means that if we don’t forgive others, then we shouldn’t expect the Lord to forgive us. Unfortunately, forgiveness isn’t always easy! With that in mind, here’s your REAL Question for the week:
Why is it hard to forgive certain people?
As you’re thinking about the question, remember that Jesus was pretty clear in Matthew’s Gospel: “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” ~Matthew 6:14
Forgive others, and you will be forgiven by God!
